The Northern Ireland Charolais Club is showcasing a Charolais Spectacular this weekend, the roll out is in the all-purpose arena in Ecclesville today Saturday 16th June starting with judging of the ANIMAX Young Handlers at 1.30pm followed by Pedigree & commercial classes and championships.

Everyone is welcome to join us no admission and free car parking.

 This is a sight to behold as visitors from across the world are descending on the quiet village of Fintona for the one and only showcase of 130 cattle form one beef breed to be staged in the province. Charolais is the leading beef breed and the British Charolais Society is celebrating 50 years and going stronger than ever. This is also an opportunity for related industries to showcase their products and services and network and build customer bases even further.

The judges for the event are Mrs Florrie Telford who has important links with showing Charolais and with the Ecclesville Centre in Fintona judge of the Animax Young Handler Competition;  Archie McGregor from Scotland a renowned judge well known for a keen eye in picking out the best in the ring, will judge the commercial classes and championships, while the pedigrees are being judged this year by Club Chairman JK Currie a founder member of the NI Charolais Club over forty years ago, John is chairman in this very important year as the club has just celebrated 40 years  as they look forward to welcoming the World Charolais Congress delegation to Northern Ireland.
